I am going to R2I in july. Over the years I have collected loads of DVDs and music CDs? My question is wheteher customs in India would ask for tax? I am planning to ship via aircargo to mumbai. I do not have bills for these items, unfortunately. thanks in advance.

If you are returning back for good (after min 2 years stay abroad), then your DVD's and CD's will be duty free on TR. If not, then you have a Rs. 25000 duty free allowance per head on arrival which can be used against the below items if you are carrying them with you.
