Hard to pick one.. but, I guess it'll be our first or second trip to des, when I used to count the exact waking hours I had in the trip and want to divvy it up by two for spending in his folks house and my folks. Aiyo.. how I used to fight...for weeks before going and, oh my, the looooong face in the plane... : )

Not fighting till your first trip is itself a big achievement. :-))

In our case, our fight in the initial days was always about things that happened in our marraige. Obviously both sides had something to comment about the other side and
we both took those comments to heart. Soon we realized though, people in India have short memory and they forgot all that happened in the Marriage, we better get over it too.

Well i have never ever fought with my husband...ever..never!!..All we have is logical arguments and that too are done by my husband..and i have ignore button.:)
But looking back one time when Tins was born,she was 10 day old and i asked him to feed her...we spent an hour arguing about who should do the mid night feed...i was really tired due to the augment .. husband agreed to feed Tins..then he realized something and then again argument started while Tins was crying on the top of her lungs.............

We didn't have bottles to feed.

After that We argued about who should have thought about bottles to buy...

My argument was i was self sufficient in this department ..it was his job to look after bottles...:)

Logic failed him and i won...

First real fight and came out as a winner...i have never looked back since then.

first fight was before DH was DH... shaadi just fixed and this boy is more interested in partying with friends as opposed to spending all his time talking to me on the phone :e

First real fight was about how I have problems with everything his mom does ( this was before I took advice from this forum and stopped telling him stuff )

I know that we fought many times before this and I thought that they were serious fights but I just can't remember what it was about now :D

My serious fight was along the same lines as MV's. first trip to Des. I wanted to spend some time with my parents and sister, also had to give some silver items to my Dad to be stowed away safely in my locker. DH said, you go if you want to and being the brave woman with serious geographical challenges that I was, I carried all silver vessels in a cloth bag, went to the bus stop and found my way around. From the way I looked, not one would have guessed I had such valuables in my possession. I was fuming and mad, why can he not understand that I want to be with my Mommmy....
