r2i forum

Hello All,

I am planning to R2I. Had this dilemma for sometime and now we are trying to make things fall in place so that we can R2I. But still in a dilemma about the whole thing.
Its been just 6 years since I came to USA. 2 years Masters and 4 years on H1b. As they say "Life is a cake walk in US", hence has become "mechanical routine". R2I gives me goosebumps and makes me virutally smell the fresh feeling of Indianess. But again the strange thought prevails as to why I am thinking soo much about moving back, when I was born and lived 21 years in India.
Atleast I am thinking...thats what makes me happy. :)
But one thing, life's been exciting since the thought of R2I arised in my mind. Every plan is revolving around R2I.

I thought that there will be surely someone out there having the same feeling. So, why not meet and share the views.

I am planning to arrange for a casual meet in Bay Area for R2I folks. By the way, I am planning to R2 to Bangalore. :).
Please reply to this thread so that I can view this as a realistic plan.

When are you planning to return? in 2011, 2012, 2013 or later ? If 2011 then plan now if 2013 or later you never know what future has for you, may be later even if you want to return situation will not allow you to move. Just my 2 cents thought...

Anyway wish you good luck on your R2I planning followed by successful execution :)

I planned for R2I in March last year and moved to India in June, so far things are going pretty well for me and no regrets..... take a look into my R2I diary....

@back2desh: Had this thought for a while and the plan is to move this year(2011) and hence the rigorous planning. :)
