For the USA portion, from mid-forties to age 60 - you need to generate monthly income. Because, you cannot touch your 401k & not eligible for Social Security benefits.

One issue, i have not discussed here, The 40K Rental is residential Rentals and not sure how long would they continue, Thinking of getting an equivalent Commercial with NNN, instead of Residential(all kinds of things with it), Sell the Residential and get Commercial

As per my cynical analysis, confusing grammar and spelling were adapted by the genteel folks in England to make the non college educated masses feel inferior.

One thing is, my belief is "Should do something" otherwise all kinds of Health Issues, Sadness, Grief and Worrying about everything in life, Becomes Emotional for small things, Hopelessness , Becomes very Conservative, Can't tolerate other religion, caste, color and watches all kinds of news , Getting Blood Pressure, thinking every one is there to get you, can't tolerate new family members, fight with existing members....etc

So if we agree in principle, we should do something , One good thing at this stage is, We can choose what we want to do , So what should we do ?

That is for individual to decide, For me , These are my plans

1. Write Movie Stories/Screen Plays and continue to work in the Screen Writers Club, Mingle with Folks, Listening to their Stories, Telling your Story and trying to get a break in Netflix/Amazon and other Hollywood Studios

2. Writing a Movie Story/ScreenPlay is very draining and lots of Hard work and Keeps one very Sharp

To give an example, My Film Story, How to start my movie, Meaning First 60 Seconds of movie, I have changed the Opening Scene so far 40 Times, Just imagine writing all these Stories and trying to get a break

3. There is no Capital Investment here, meaning these are not RE/STOCKS....etc, The worst thing would happen to me is, Nobody Likes my Stories/ScreenPlays, At this stage in my life, doesn't matter, I enjoy the Process of "Breaking into Hollywood" , not the results

4. At least i would meet lots of Celebrities, Directors, Producers, Actors and spend some time with them, Creative Process

5. Travel , Wanted to Visit all these Places where all the Great Writers Once Lived or experienced their life stories , Examples

a) The Novel "Mother" Visit -Soromovo--Russia
b) Mark Twain---Hannibal, Missouri
c) Chingis Khan---Mongolia
d) Papillon---Henri Charri?, French Guiana
e) Visit Rachakonda Viswanatha Sastry's house in Vizag

And Visit lots of Golf Courses, Primarily in Ireland(At least top 20 Golf Courses in the world and play once)

...etc, I have a Big List of Travel to do

I think you should also write some children books or maybe how about an essential grammar book for everyone , not more than 50 pages :)
