I am returning to India and I want to know whether If I carry a Cashiers or Travelers Check up to $40,000 with a Letter from the Bank in U.S justifying the money I am carrying.

Will that cause any trouble???

Thanks Yogesh for the reply. Actually I was planning to buy a bike as cheaper over here. so I think I will be end up paying duty on it if buying it now????
