Hi,

We have been invited for graduation party (couples only) by neighbor who is an American.
What kind of dress should I wear? I have been to graduation parties but for Desi families. Should it be casual or formal. If casual what choices do I have? If formal , evening dress?

Ladies any suggestions are welcome!

Other than not wearing too informal like Jeans/Turtle neck, anything else should be O.k. (formal pants with floral/silk shirts), knee length cocktail dresses, floral skirts with laced tops etc. But don't wear evening gowns (the Christmas party kinds) or too much diamond jewelry/make-up as the event is to showcase the newly minted grad :)

No pants/evening gowns (will look too dressed up)
