Please let me know if someone had the same situation of mine:

I applied for OCI cards for my wife and daughter in June 2010 at Houston consulate. My daughter had to go to India immediately to join medical college in India. Since OCI got delayed, she took one year VISA and went to India last month. Now the OCI got approved.
Can we collect the documents in India? If so how and where?
OR
Can I get her passport to the US by some one and send it to Houston to get U-VISA stamped?

I am in the same situation. Applied for OCI in March at Houston. It is still pending. Now we applied for one year entry visa.

not sure ...about your situation ...Houston folks will never respond to calls or emails or fax ...probably some r2i member will :)

We recently moved to India, our OCI cards were received in Houston after we left US.

My wife called the consulate and was told that one of the family members can pickup all the OCI cards for the family in Houston.

The best time to call the consulate is between 2-4PM, you might have to wait for a while on the phone and try few times before you can get hold of someone.

One thing we are still trying to figure out is how to receive OCI card if we do not have a original PIO card, my wife lost her PIO card.
