Dear Customers,
Per advisory received from steamship lines, please be advised that there are currently two new port strikes planned in India. The first strike is a token strike (short strike) planned for April 6, 2011, which would only impact the terminals at Nhava Sheva (GTI, JNPT, NSICT).
The other port strike is planned for April 15, 2011, but would impact all major ports in India. This strike is indefinite.
These two strikes are related to disputes over corporate port development throughout India.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will advise should the situation change.
Best Regards,
Adarsh Dattani
