Moving to India - Port charges at Bangalore ICD

Hi - Our goods have arrived at Bangalore Whitefield CONCOR terminal; Now our shipper is telling us that there are Port charges applicable. I do not see anyone else in the forum mentioning port charges - is this something that we need to pay? Please advise.

Dear Londonvasi,
These charges are applicable for all shipments and should have been included by your shipper in his door to door contract. If they haven't done that and did even tell you that this would have to be paid by you in Bangalore, they have not been fair to you. Please see their quote and / or contract for details on inclusions and exclusions.
