Home Minister P Chidambaram on Monday said that the conviction of Ajmal Kasab and acquittal of two local accomplices in Mumbai attack case shows India is governed by rule of law but sends a message to Pakistan that it should not export terror.

The only minister who makes some noise once in a while in a sleeping Govt sounds so helpless.

How does conviction of Kasab send a strong message to Pak? and what does conviction has to do for Pak to stop exporting terror is beyond me.

Do you think if they care or is there a dearth if one of thousands of terrorists gets caught once in a while and court in India convicts him after feeding biryani for a year?

when i read PC's statement ,I started laughing....may be the message was about the accquital of the other 2 guys..."please dont send over anyone , use internal help"...

but I admire PC ..he is one of the very few who gets the work done
