Arianespace hopes to return the uprated Ariane 5 ECA to flight on 11 February, following the successful launch of a basic Ariane 5G on 18 December - only its third of 2004 - carrying the European military satellite Helios 2A. Also on board were the Spanish-built Nanosat, four French electronic-intelligence satellites, and Parsol, a small research satellite from French space agency CNES.
