Brewer High School assistant principal Fred Lower is taking on the role of head football coach.Lowers appointment was announced by Superintendent of Schools Gregg Palmer at Monday nights Brewer School Co stanley cups uk mmittee meeting. Lower brings ne stanley mexico arly three decades of coaching experience to the position, having formerly been athletic director and head football coach at Hampden Academy, football and baseball coach at Bangor High and offensive coordinator at Husson University. Lower replaces fellow Brewer High School faculty member Scott Flagg, who stepped down in March聽following a four-year stint as the Witches head coach. Under Flaggs leadership, Brewers participation numbers rebounded from less than 30 to more than 55, but the program struggled to a 6-23 overall record. Lower was聽selected聽due to his coaching resume and existing relationship with the student body, according to Brewer Athletic Director Dave Utterback.
