A former long-haul Bath trucker who admitted taking a 13-year-old girl to Nebraska more than 20 years ago so he could sexually assault her was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Portland to more than 27 years in federal prison. David Miller, 55, of Flushing, Michigan, was arrested nearly a year ago after the victim reported to police in 2015 that Miller, a relative, abused her when she was teenager and in 1995 he took her on a trip in his rig to the Midwest.Miller faced between 10 years and life in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
