IS OCI couple eligible for in country(domestic) adoption?

Any information on domestic adoptions for OCI's is helpful. Does anyone know where to find it. Googled but no luck

Technically, you are not eligible. However, if you intend to stay in India for 2 years after completion of adoption process then you might be eligible. You have to go through lot of procedures to bring your baby back to US as per CARA regulations.

If you have no intention to come back to US, then its a pretty straight forward procedure.
