Vision Therapy

Post by nextyear »

Greetings!

We are planning to relocate to Hyderabad this summer and would like to get some information on vision therapy for Strabismus. Our 7 year old undergoes vision therapy and we would like to continue the therapy in India after we move. I spoke with various ophthalmologists in the city but they sounded very vague. They say that there are facilities in the city but aren't sure how helpful they will be. I have heard that LV Prasad Eye Institute is one of the best in the world but I think they can be as good as the doctor/therapist that will be working with you. We tried 3-4 therapists here before settling down to our current one.

We have seen gradual improvement in our child's eye coordination and would like to continue providing therapy. Our move kinda depends on access to good vision therapy in Hyderabad. I would really appreciate if someone with experience in the area can recommend a good ophthalmologist and share details on techniques and results.

Thanks

Can one of the admins move this post to the right forum? Looks like I posted in the wrong forum, perhaps Hyderabad General forum would be more apt for this. Thanks

I would look no further than LV prasad for this. You would be hard pressed to find an equivalent institute in US.
