Tanjore Paintings

I remember seeing this person on Vir Sanghvi's show Custom Made yesterday....his work seems nice. Digressing, but, he has patented some techniques(?) considering these are techniques used for centuries in Tanjore paintings, I'm not sure how the patents laws will allow it........
