"Sleep when the baby sleeps" - Nope. Stay awake and enjoy the peace and quiet. :)
whose turn to change diaper - yes, there might come a time when in the middle of the night one informally check whose turn it is to change the diaper. :) one of parenting's sorest tests to wake up from a warm bed and go do the deed, but do it... in the total silence of the night, only a small light or two illuminating the crib or changing area, after the change baby looks up happy and strikes up a "conversation" even though it is the middle of the night... it is so worth it.
Take lots of whole family pictures. Whenever at somebody's else place or if guests come over, and baby is awake, hand them the camera, and have them take pictures of the whole family.
When parenting gets a leetle bit taxing, get creative.... twitter or post a FB status that goes on to become a #1 bestseller book like this one:
Born out of a Facebook status update, Mansbach has said that when his daughter Vivien was an infant, it would often take hours for her to fall asleep. Exhausted and exasperated, Mansbach posted this as a note on Facebook: "Look out for my forthcoming children's book, Go the -- to Sleep."
Watch Samuel L. Jackson read part of the book on Letterman. :)
